| It is
believed the three "parade" photos were taken
to celebrate the Coronation of George VI in 1937 (or
could it have been the Silver Jubilee of King George V
and Queen Mary in 1935?). The Co-op stables were located behind where the Electricity Board used to be. Tom Taylor, Ann's dad, appears in all the photos. The 4th photo of the "Troon Co-operative Society Limited Bakery" horse and cart was taken at an earlier date. |
