Nellis AFB: USAF 50th Anniversay

On April 26 and 27 at Nellis AFB, the United States Air Force celebrated its 50th Anniversary. It was the most impressive collection of modern day and vintage military aircraft I have ever seen in North America. Five military demonstration teams took part in the airshow, one being the Snowbirds. Below are some of the photographs I took of the Snowbirds at Nellis AFB.

Pitt Meadows AirFair

The Pitt Meadows show took place on Saturday, July 20. It was a small show but it was nice to have the Snowbirds return to the Fraser Valley before the big show in Abbotsford 3 weeks later.

Abbotsford International Airshow

The Abbotsford Airshow took place on August 8-10. The Snowbirds again headlined the show along with a U-2 Dragon Lady and a full scale Avro Arrow replica.
